From 1996-2000, Adam Ubert led the Arrowhead boys soccer team, earning the prestigious title of Conference Player of the Year his senior year. The honors started coming in his freshman year as the hard-working goalkeeper earned Honorable Mention All-Conference. As a sophomore, he was crowned First-Team All-Conference and then as a junior and a senior the awards multiplied as Adam was named Team Captain, First-Team All-Conference, All-State, All-Area and All-Central Region. On multiple occasions, the Waukesha Freeman and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recognized Adam as Player of the Week for Waukesha County and Southeastern Wisconsin.
To add to those high school accolades, Adam also was a Top 150 Adidas ESP Camp Invitee in 1998 and 1999, plus he was a Regional ODP team member from 1997-1999 (where he traveled and played internationally), he trained with the Columbus Crew of MLS and he attended the youth National Team Camp.
As a four-year starter, Adam led the Arrowhead boys soccer program
to back-to-back Conference Championship Titles.
To top off life at Arrowhead, Adam was named to the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society, plus he earned the AHS Coaches’ Award.
Adam captured the attention of the Marquette soccer program where he was a four-year starter for the Golden Eagles. He earned a Top 10 National Ranking as a freshman, and a Top 5 Conference Ranking for Goals Against Average all four collegiate years. Plus he was on the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll. As a sophomore, the team won the Conference Title. Adam was named Team Captain in 2003 and 2004, and he earned multiple Conference Player of the Week honors.
At the end of his career, he was in the Top 5 in nearly every goalkeeping category, including Wins, Goals Against Average, Saves and Minutes Played.
After earning his degree at Marquette, Adam attended Western Virginia University for medical school and then the University of Louisville for Fellowship. In 2015, Adam married Danielle and they currently live in Charleston, WV. They are the proud parents of twins. Adam is a cardiothoracic surgeon at the Charleston Area Medical Center.
