AP Physics - Corry & Streufert Moodle Site
This second-year course is year-long and designed to be an extension of the first-year physics course. It will cover new topics and go into more depth on topics already covered. This course requires a good working knowledge of mathematics. Expectations will be much like those of a college physics course. The course will require homework time of approximately one hour per day for reading, problem-solving assignments, and laboratory work. Major topics of study include kinematics, Newton’s laws, force, work, energy, heat and thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, light and atomic physics. Students have an opportunity to gain 8-10 college credits with their AP exam performance.
